Course Description The WMD HAZMAT Evidence Collection course is a two-day course for responders, including law encorcement, fire service, EMS, HAZMAT technicians, emergency management, governmental administrative, health care, public safety communicatiors, and public health. The training will prepare responders to properly respond to and document a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, or Explosives (CBRNE) crime scene, enable responders to employ the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)'s Crime Scene Search Protocol, and prepare responders to identify and collect potential evidence. The course incorporates a scenario-driven exercise to allow responders to demonstrate their competency in evidence collection techniques, utilize the FBI's Crime Scene Search Protocol, utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and to perform technical decontamination of personnel and collected materials.
