Eligible Attendees
Training opportunities at the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) are available for international responders on a space-available, fee-for-service basis for the following disciplines: Emergency Management, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), fire service, governmental administrative, HAZMAT, healthcare (non-EMS), law enforcement, public health, public safety communication, public works, military, and other skilled support personnel that provide immediate support services during prevention, response, and recovery operations.
A CDP security clearance must be processed and approved prior to course attendance. This process may take up to 90 days.
A limited number of courses are discipline specific and are indicated in each course description.
Prerequisites

Eligibility requirements and prerequisites will be verified by the Center for Domestic Preparedness training coordinator prior to the application being considered.
Levels of Training Conducted
Performance defensive-level responder—individuals who act defensively, protecting nearby people, property, or the environment from the effects of a release.
Performance offensive-level responder—individuals who act offensively, conducting on-scene operations within the hot and warm zones at the scene of the event.
Planning and management-level responder—individuals who are expected to be part of the leadership and management team responding to a CBRNE event.
