Course Description The WMD Respiratory Protection course is a two-day course providing an overview of the history of respiratory protection; seminars on how to read, understand, and apply code of federal regulation standards relating to respiratory protection; and hands-on practical exercises utilizing the responder’s knowledge and skills in performing qualitative and quantitative fit testing with respiratory protection devices with the ability to interpret the test results. As part of the 16 contact hours for this course, the trainer/administrator will learn how to develop, implement, and sustain an individual respiratory protection program for his/her department and/or jurisdiction.
