Program G

Program G is the WMD Emergency Medical Services course (PER-267).

Course Description
WMD EMS is a three-day course offering lectures, hands-on training, and practical exercises. The lectures include CBRNE incident management; treatment of victims of exposure to chemical, biological, and radiological hazards, as well as explosions. Hands-on training modules provide the emergency medical responder with the knowledge and skills to perform triage operations while in PPE and to perform decontamination of victims. In the Cold Lanes, emergency medical responders have an opportunity to practice additional treatment protocols and transport and tracking procedures. EMS culminates on the third day with a practical exercise involving skills learned during the course.
