Overview

AWR-341-W Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Awareness and Security Procedures course provides foundational knowledge about IEDs and proper safety precautions and procedures for reacting and responding to unattended and suspicious items.

 

Audience: Critical infrastructure owners and operators, public safety officers, emergency mangers, security officers, law enforcement officials, private sector security professionals

Course Length: 60 minutes

Accreditation: 1 Contact Hour

Recommended Prerequisites: None

Description: The IED Awareness and Security Procedures course is an online independent study training.  It provides foundational knowledge in IED threat awareness, public response to IED threats and agency specific response to IED threats.
