Critical Infrastructure Owners and Operators, Public Safety Officers, Emergency Managers, Security Officers, Law Enforcement Officials, and Private Sector Security Professionals 

Overview

The Protective Measures course provides learners the foundational knowledge to identify risks and vulnerabilities to a facility, venue, or event and to identify various types of protective measures to mitigate an IED threat. Learners have the opportunity to apply concepts introduced throughout the course with hands-on activities.

 

This is a one day, in-person instructor-led training covering the following topics:

•Explosive effects
•Identifying risk
•Protective measures
•Appropriate protective measures
•Special event and public gathering security
