Dry bulk cargo tanks (non-specification) are known as pneumatically off-loaded hoppers. The tanks hold dry products, or may sometimes carry a slurry like concrete. The most common products are fertilizers, lime, flour, grain, or other food products. The potential hazard when dealing with these tankers is predominantly environmental, but at times they may contain toxic materials.
