ARTC construction set to begin
Work will begin this month on a long-anticipated renovation project at the Center for Domestic Preparedness’ (CDP) Advanced Responder Training Complex.
The project involves the interior of its main building, which will be completely gutted and renovated over the next two years.
Once the undertaking is complete, the nearly 40,000 square feet structure will house a reception area for responders who train at the center, as well as office space for employees in the center’s Training and Education Department. Several new classrooms will also be included.
The project is estimated to cost approximately $18 million dollars.
