BioWatch distance learning course available
The Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) and the Department of Homeland Security’s Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office (CWMD) this week released BioWatch Overview, a 30-minute distance learning course which explains the purpose and importance of the BioWatch Program.
The BioWatch Program monitors for biological agents intentionally released into the air. It acts as an early warning system, enabling responders to respond quickly and reduce illnesses and deaths from a bioterrorism attack.
Responders interested in the training can learn more by visiting https://cdp.dhs.gov/training/course/AWR-938-W.
