CDP coordinating virtual tribal training
The Center for Domestic Preparedness’ (CDP’s) will conduct its 10th annual Tribal Nations Training Week April 26-May 3.
However, for those who are unable to attend in person, virtual classes are being planned for the week following resident training. State, local, tribal, and territorial responders who affiliated with one or more tribal nations or the Indian Health Service are eligible to attend.
The VILT classes are being organized as a week of training, with each day focused on a different discipline such as medical, law enforcement, emergency management, and communication (including community notification and education).
Registration for the resident portion of Tribal Nations Training Week is currently open. To apply for training, contact FEMA-tribalnationscdp@fema.dhs.gov.
Registration for the VILT offerings is scheduled to open within the next few months.
