CDP course accreditations renewed

The International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST) and Alabama Board of Nursing recently renewed their accreditation for courses offered by the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP).

IADLEST is a national organization which promotes standards in law enforcement training. Its re-certification of the CDP’s Field Force Operations Course is valid until July 2025.

IADLEST certification signifies the course meets the organization’s rigorous standards and can affix the IADLEST certification seal to any of its promotional and instructional materials. The seal will also accompany the course description on the IADLEST’s First Forward website (https://www.firstforward.com/).

The Alabama Board of Nursing safeguards and promotes the health, safety and welfare of the public through licensing and approval of qualified individuals and adopting and enforcing legal standards for nursing education and nursing practice. Their Continuing Education Unit, or CEU, renewal is good through 2027. This ensures responders completing applicable CDP courses can use those credits towards their professional development requirements.

Select CDP courses are also accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, the Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education, the International Association for Continuing Education and Training, and the California Department of Public Health.
