CDP creating ‘Healthcare Provider Down’ video
FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) is creating a video which shows healthcare providers how to safely evacuate a fellow provider who has become incapacitated while treating a patient with an infectious disease.
Filming for the Healthcare Provider Down ‘short’ occurred on campus at the end of September during a delivery of the center’s Barrier Precautions and Controls for Highly Infectious Disease (HID) Course. Information presented in the video is part of the HID course curriculum.
The video is now in production with an expected release later this year.
All CDP training videos can be viewed on the center’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkIoi6TLqSBH7Moy5U_M7Uw.
