CDP, DHS producing BioWatch distance learning course
The Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) is working with the Department of Homeland Security’s Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office (CWMD) to create a BioWatch Program distance learning course.
The BioWatch Program monitors for biological agents intentionally released into the air. It acts as an early warning system, enabling responders to respond quickly and reduce illnesses and deaths from a bioterrorism attack.
The 30-minute distance learning course will focus on the importance and purpose of the BioWatch Program.
It is expected to be released this summer.
