CDP distance learning course focuses on environmental health
FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) offers responders a wide variety of self-paced, web-based training courses which can be accessed anywhere, through a computer or mobile device.
Among the offerings is the Environmental Health Training in Emergency Response Awareness Course, which introduces circumstances environmental health responders may face and tasks they may perform when preparing for or responding to natural or man-made disasters. The 8-hour course also details procedures used to protect responders and the public during all phases of disaster response and recovery.
