CDP has openings in May classes
The Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) has seat openings in upcoming offerings of its Framework for Healthcare Emergency Management (FRAME) and Instructor Training (ITC) courses the week of May 13-18.
FRAME is a four-day course designed for personnel who are responsible for the development, implementation and administration of emergency management programs and plans for healthcare facilities and systems. It provides an overview of relevant standards and regulations; how to integrate with stakeholders; the Incident Command System (as it applies to healthcare facilities and systems); facility and personnel preparedness; and mass casualty issues.

ITC is a four-day course which covers instructor competencies, classroom strategies, use of technology in a classroom, and assessment of student learning outcomes. The course includes a series of facilitated discussions and practical exercises requiring participants to demonstrate advanced instructor skills.

CDP training for state, local, tribal and territorial first responders is fully funded by the Department of Homeland Security, to include round-trip transportation, lodging and meals.
