CDP has openings in upcoming classes

The Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) has seat openings in offerings of its Law Enforcement Protective Measures for Complex Incidents (LEPM) and Introduction to SNS Operations (SNS) courses in January.

LEPM provides law enforcement officers with the information and skills required to safely perform their roles during an active threat situation involving hazardous materials. It is coupled with Intermediate Hands-On Training for CBRNE Incidents: Law Enforcement, Law Enforcement Response Actions for CBRNE Incidents and the LEPM train-the-trainer course.

SNS provides state, local, tribal, and territorial officials an introduction to the Strategic National Stockpile, including its mission; planning considerations; capabilities; and strategies for requesting, receiving, distributing, dispensing, and administering SNS assets across a range of public health threats.

For additional information on the courses or to apply for training, visit https://cdp.dhs.gov/training/course/PER-264 for the LEPM series of courses or https://cdp.dhs.gov/training/course/PER-310 for SNS.

For a full list of available training, visit https://cdp.dhs.gov/training-calendar.

CDP training is completely funded for state, local, tribal and territorial emergency responders to include roundtrip airfare, meals, and lodging.
