CDP installing outdoor fitness equipment

To assist responders in maintaining physical fitness levels while they’re attending resident training, FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness is installing a variety of outdoor fitness equipment in its Responder Lodging Complex.

A 12-post T-Rex training system has been installed near Building 78, but additional groundwork, including the installation of concrete pads, is needed before the remaining equipment can be placed on site.

The remaining equipment will include farmer logs, a drive sled, steps for improving agility, a weight bench, squat rack and U-staircase.

The project should be complete by the end of summer.
