CDP Law Enforcement Theme Week scheduled next month
CDP will host a law enforcement-themed training week in November.
FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) will host a law enforcement-themed training week in November featuring training on a variety of topics, including active shooter response, mass casualty incident response, and critical decision-making.
The week will be held Nov. 17-23 on its campus in Anniston, Alabama, and include training offered by the Center for Radiological Nuclear Training, LSU’s Academy of Counter-Terrorist Education, The Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center, Texas A&M’s Engineering Extension Service, the Broward County (Florida) Sheriff’s Office, and others.
All law enforcement and security officers are eligible to attend, with special consideration given to those in jurisdictions hosting or supporting the 2025 Super Bowl and 2026 World Cup.

CDP training is completely funded for state, local, tribal, and territorial emergency responders to include roundtrip airfare, meals, and lodging.
