CDP medical personnel attend air transport training

Medics employed by FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) participated in training recently, where they were taught the capabilities of medical transport helicopters as well as the communication and other needs of support personnel on the ground.

The training ensures the employees understand how to request air medical transport on campus, if needed.

The training was provided by Survival Flight, Inc., a commercial company that provides medical transport to patients in need.
