CDP offers biological incident response planning course
FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) recently released a new, web-based biological incident response and recovery course.
The distance learning course, Key Planning Factors and Considerations for Response to and Recovery from a Biological Incident (Bio KPF), is based on a similarly named guidance document and designed to support regional, state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) departments and agencies with the development of effective biological incident plans.
Other stakeholders, such as non-governmental and private sector organizations, will also find the information useful as it complements their planning efforts in response to and recovery from biological incidents.
Individuals interested in the offering can learn more by visiting https://cdp.dhs.gov/training/course/AWR-948-W.
Course registration requires a FEMA Student Identification Number or SID. To complete the one-time registration process for a SID, visit https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid/register.
