CDP offers web-based OBP train-the-trainer course

FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) offers responders a wide variety of self-paced, web-based training courses which can be accessed anywhere, through a computer or mobile device.

Among the offerings is the DHS Office for Bombing Prevention’s Train-the-Trainer Refresher Course, which provides refresher training for qualified course trainers, including tips on how to navigate the learning management system. The 45-minute independent study offering also teaches instructors how to use the CDP Trainer Portal and CTAS Roster Management System to create and deliver the course, as well as ensure credit is given to participants who complete the training.

Responders interested in the training can learn more by visiting https://cdp.dhs.gov/training/course/AWR-946.

Course registration requires a FEMA Student Identification Number or SID. To complete the one-time registration process for a SID, visit https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid/register.
