CDP preparing ‘crowd dynamics’ VILT
FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness is creating a new Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) offering focused on crowd dynamics.
The hour-long ‘Understanding Crowd Dynamics for Mitigation and De-escalation of Large-scale Events’ presentation should be available sometime this summer.
It will consist of about 25-minutes of instruction about crowd dynamics and de-escalation techniques followed by about 35 minutes of guided group discussion on the two topics.
CDP virtual classrooms provide students a wide range of interactive training presentations they can enjoy from work, home, or any other location using a computer with internet access or mobile phone.
A complete list of all CDP VILT offerings is available at cdp.dhs.gov/vilt.
