CDP readies for 2022 Tribal Nations Training Week
FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness is gearing up for its annual Tribal Nations Training Week, the largest event of its type in the Department of Homeland Security.
The 2022 event will span five weeks – one week of resident courses March 5-12 followed by four weeks of virtual training offerings between March 14 and April 7.
The training is open to anyone who works in an emergency response capacity and is affiliated with one or more tribal nations or the Indian Health Service.
Eligible responders can apply to attend Tribal Training Week by visiting the CDP website at https://cdp.dhs.gov/apply, entering their FEMA Student Identification Number (SID), and typing (not cutting and pasting) in the PROMO Code for the desired course.
Those who do not have a FEMA SID can apply for one at https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid/register.
