CDP releases 2nd quarter FY2025 resident training calendar

The HERT and HCL classes will culminate in Integrated Capstone Events, or ICEs – comprehensive exercises where students work together to respond to simulated mass casualty incidents.

The CDP’s law enforcement offerings include the center’s Public Order and Public Safety: Basic, Field Force Operations and Field Force Extrication Tactics courses.

Hazardous materials offerings during the quarter include Hazardous Material Operations; Hazardous Materials Technician; Hazardous Materials Technologies: Sampling, Monitoring, and Detection; Respiratory Protection: Program Development and Administration; Advanced Radiological Incident Operations; and REP Radiological Emergency Response Operations and REP Field Operations courses.

Additionally, the CDP is offering its Incident Command: Capabilities, Planning and Response Actions for All Hazards Course.

Registration for these offerings is currently open. To apply, visit https://cdp.dhs.gov/training-calendar.

CDP training is provided free of charge to state, local, tribal, and territorial emergency responders, including round-trip transportation, meals, and lodging.
