CDP releases in-person training numbers for June, July
CDP released the number of recorded June and July in-person training completions.
The Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) released the number of recorded June and July course completions by those who trained on its campus in Anniston, Alabama, and those who received in-person training through non-resident or indirect modalities.
The CDP recorded 926 course completions in 39 resident deliveries during the months, including its Hazardous Materials Technician, Environmental Health Training in Emergency Response - Operations and Field Force Operations courses.
The CDP conducted 40 non-resident courses for 1,003 responders and 122 indirect courses for 1,420 responders during the same period.
Non-resident courses are delivered by contract CDP instructors at locations across the United States. Indirect courses are delivered by volunteer responders to people in their organization, community, or both. The volunteer responders must be graduates of both the courses they instruct and that course’s associated train-the-trainer course.
CDP training is provided free of charge to state, local, tribal, and territorial emergency responders, including round-trip transportation, meals and lodging.
