CDP releases list of November resident course offerings

The Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) has released its resident training calendar for the month of November.

Hazardous materials offerings for the month include the center’s Hazardous Materials Operations; Hazardous Materials Technologies: Sampling, Monitoring, and Detection; Hazardous Materials Technician; Disaster Related Exposure Assessment and Monitoring; and REP Radiological Emergency Response Operations courses.

The CDP’s law enforcement offerings for the month include Field Force Operations, Field Force Extrication Tactics and Evidence Collection in a Hazardous Materials Environment courses.

Healthcare training includes Barrier Precautions and Controls for Highly Infectious Disease, Healthcare Leadership for Mass Casualty Incidents (HCL) and Hospital Emergency Response Training for Mass Casualty Incidents (HERT) courses. The HCL and HERT classes will culminate in an Integrated Capstone Event, or ICE – a comprehensive exercise where students work together to respond to simulated incidents patterned after real-world events.
