CDP releases non-resident, indirect training numbers for April
The Center for Domestic Preparedness released its non-resident and indirect training numbers for April this week.
According to the numbers, the CDP conducted 38 non-resident courses for 1,165 responders and 5 indirect courses for 145 responders during the month.
Non-resident courses are delivered by contract CDP instructors at locations across the United States. Indirect courses are delivered by volunteer responders to others in their organization, their community or both. The volunteer responders must be graduates of the courses they instruct as well as the CDP’s Instructor Training Course.
The 38 non-resident deliveries during April included various CDP law enforcement courses delivered to members of the Santa Rosa, California, Police Department; the Troy, New York, Police Department; the Arizona Department of Public Safety; the Oklahoma City Police Department; the Fredericksburg, Virginia, Police Department; and the Florida Air National Guard.
The 5 indirect deliveries, meanwhile, included delivery of the CDP’s Hospital Emergency Response Training Course to healthcare professionals in Garden City, New York; Saint Petersburg, Florida; Phoenix, Arizona; and Fairbanks, Alaska.
