CDP releases non-resident, indirect training numbers for September

The CDP this week released its non-resident and indirect training numbers for September.

According to the data, the CDP conducted 50 non-resident courses for 1,326 responders and 13 indirect courses for 191 responders during the month.

Non-resident courses are delivered by contract CDP instructors at locations across the United States. Indirect courses are delivered by volunteer responders to others in their organization, community, or both. The volunteer responders must be graduates of the courses they instruct as well as the CDP’s Instructor Training Course.

The 50 non-resident deliveries during September included various CDP public order policing and other courses to law enforcement organizations in Shoreham, New York; Flemington, New Jersey; Baltimore, Maryland; Shelby, North Carolina; Chicago, Illinois; and Tustin, California.

The 13 indirect training deliveries, meanwhile, included the CDP’s Standardized Awareness Training or Hospital Emergency Response Training to responders in New York, New York; New Brunswick, New Jersey; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Lansing, Michigan; and Bismarck, North Dakota.

Since opening in 1998, the CDP has trained more than 1.3 million responders. That number includes responders trained on the CDP’s campus in Anniston, Alabama; at hundreds of locations across the United States and its territories; and online.
