CDP releases November resident training numbers

FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) has released the number of course completions recorded in November by those who trained on its campus in Anniston, Alabama.

The CDP recorded more than 750 course completions in 23 resident deliveries during the month, including its Disaster Related Exposure Assessment and Monitoring, Barrier Precautions and Controls for Highly Infectious Disease, Evidence Collection in a Hazardous Materials Environment and Hazardous Materials Technician courses.

Training attendees included tribal nation healthcare providers from Arizona; members of the San Juan, Puerto Rico, Police Department; and Soldiers from the Texas Army National Guard.

CDP training is provided free of charge to state, local, tribal, and territorial emergency responders, including round-trip transportation, meals and lodging.
