CDP releases resident course schedule for July
Students can now register for the Center for Domestic Preparedness’ (CDP) July resident training calendar.
- Hazardous materials offerings include two iterations of each of the center’s Hazardous Materials Technician and Hazardous Materials Technologies: Sampling, Monitoring, and Detection courses as well as three iterations of the CDP’s Hazardous Materials Operations Course.
- The CDP’s Field Force Extrication Tactics (FFE), Field Force Operations (FFO) and Evidence Collection in a Hazardous Materials Environment (HEC) courses are among the law enforcement offerings. FFE and FFO are each offered twice in July, while HEC is offered once, the week of July 19-24.
- Healthcare courses scheduled include the Healthcare Leadership for Mass Casualty Incidents (HCL), Hospital Emergency Response Training for Mass Casualty Incidents (HERT), Emergency Medical Operations and Environmental Health Training in Emergency Response Operations.
- Each iteration of the HCL and HERT courses will culminate in an Integrated Capstone Event, a comprehensive exercise where students work together in response to simulated mass casualty incidents.
