CDP releases resident training numbers for December
FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) has released the number of course completions recorded in December by those who trained on its campus in Anniston, Alabama.
The CDP recorded more than 700 course completions in 20 resident deliveries during the month, including its Field Force Extrication Tactics, Framework for Healthcare Emergency Management and Hazardous Materials Technician courses.
Attendees included nursing students from Piedmont University in Georgia, who attended the center’s Managing Public Information for All Hazards Incidents Course.
“I enjoyed the class and hope I`m able to return for future training,” said one student.
CDP training is provided free of charge to state, local, tribal, and territorial emergency responders, including round-trip transportation, meals and lodging.
