CDP releases resident training numbers for January

FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) has released the number of course completions recorded in December by those who trained on its campus in Anniston, Alabama.

The CDP recorded more than 570 course completions in 14 resident deliveries during the month, including its Hazardous Materials Technician, Field Force Operations, and Healthcare Leadership for Mass Casualty Incidents (HCL) courses.

Attendees included law enforcement officers from Fayetteville, North Carolina and responders from the Baltimore City Fire Department in Maryland and the Florida Health Department.

“I really appreciate the extra time and support provided in my area of incident command and in the classroom,” said one HCL student.

CDP training is provided free of charge to state, local, tribal, and territorial emergency responders, including round-trip transportation, meals and lodging.
