CDP releases resident training numbers for October and November

FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) has released the number of course completions recorded in October and November by those who trained on its campus in Anniston, Alabama.

The CDP recorded more than 430 course completions in 13 resident deliveries during October, including its Hazardous Materials Technologies: Sampling, Monitoring, and Detection; Public Order and Respiratory Protection: Program Development and Administration; and Healthcare Emergency Response Operations for CBRNE Incidents courses.

The CDP recorded more than 640 course completions in 19 resident deliveries during November, including its Hazardous Materials Operations and Hospital Emergency Response Training for Mass Casualty Incidents courses.

“I think the course was very helpful and I feel like the practical applications made this incredibly worth it,” said one student.

CDP training is provided free of charge to state, local, tribal, and territorial emergency responders, including round-trip transportation, meals and lodging.
