CDP releases Virtual Instructor-Led Training schedule for December

The Center for Domestic Preparedness has released its Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) schedule for the month of December.

The schedule includes more than 60 offerings on a wide range of topics, from ‘Crisis Standards of Care and Treatment Decision-Making’ and ‘Emerging and Resurging Infectious Diseases’ to ‘Planning, Response, and Management of a Biological Pathogen or Agent Incident’ and ‘Lone Wolf Threat in Every Town USA.’

VILT sessions typically run one to two hours.

Responders can participate in the courses from work, home, or other location using a computer or compatible mobile device capable of running Adobe Connect. A phone (landline or cellular) is needed to call into a phone bridge. Participation via the virtual classroom and the phone bridge is required to receive a certificate of completion.

To register, visit https://cdp.dhs.gov/vilt, select the desired course from the list and click apply. Two business days prior to training, you will receive an email with additional information about the course, to include the virtual classroom link and instructions, as well as the phone bridge number and pin.
