CDP releases Virtual Instructor-Led Training schedule for October

The Center for Domestic Preparedness has released its Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) schedule for the month of October.

The schedule includes 36 courses on a wide range of topics, from ‘Crisis Standards of Care and Treatment Decision-Making’ and ‘Hazardous Materials Response Planning and Management’ to ‘Patient Management: Receiving a Highly Infectious Disease Patient’ and ‘Public Information for All Hazard Incidents.’

Responders can participate in the courses from work, home, or any other location using a computer or compatible mobile device capable of running Adobe Connect. A phone (landline or cellular) will be needed to call into a phone bridge. Participation via the virtual classroom and the phone bridge is required in order to receive a certificate of completion.

To register, visit https://cdp.dhs.gov/vilt, select the desired course from the list, and click apply. Two business days prior to training you will receive an email with additional information about the course, to include the virtual classroom link and instructions, and the phone bridge number and pin.
