CDP releases Virtual Instructor-Led Training Schedule for September
The Center for Domestic Preparedness has released its Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) schedule for the month of September.
There are 25 courses planned on a wide range of topics, from ‘Medical Surge Management’ and ‘Federal, State, and Local Roles in Medical Emergency Response’ to ‘Pathogens of Special Concern’ and ‘Communicating Effectively in an Emergency.’
Responders can participate in the events from work, home, or any other location using a computer or mobile device capable of running Adobe Connect. A phone (landline or cellular) will also be needed to call into the phone bridge. Participation via both Adobe Connect and the phone bridge is required in order to receive a course certificate of completion.
To register, simply visit https://cdp.dhs.gov/vilt, select the desired course from the list, and click apply. Two business days prior to training you will receive an email with additional information about the course, to include the on-line virtual classroom link and instructions, and the phone bridge number and pin.
