CDP releases web-based training numbers for December
FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) has released its number of web-based course completions for December.
The CDP recorded 3,025 web-based course completions during the month. Completions result from responders attending one or more Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) presentations or taking one or more self-paced courses in the center’s online training library.
The CDP is continuing to convert its more than 60 VILTs to on-demand training offerings, which will allow that material to also be available to students at their convenience. While that limits the number of available VILTs, once the conversion is complete, the CDP’s online training library will total more than 80 courses.
Brief descriptions about each of the CDP’s current online offerings, as well as information on how to register for the courses, can be found at https://cdp.dhs.gov/online_course.
