CDP releases web-based training numbers for January

FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) has released the number of its web-based course completions for January.

The CDP recorded 3,787 web-based course completions during the month. Completions result from responders attending one or more Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) presentations or taking one or more self-paced courses in the center’s online training library.

The CDP currently has 64 VILT and 14 online offerings in its training catalog.  However, it is working on converting most of its VILTs to on-demand training offerings, which will allow that material to also be available to students at their convenience.

Brief descriptions about each of the CDP’s current online offerings, as well as information on how to register for the courses, can be found at https://cdp.dhs.gov/online_course.
