CDP releases web-based training numbers for July
CDP has released the number of web-based course completions for November.
FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness this week released its number of web-based course completions for July.
The CDP recorded 2,270 web-based course completions during the month. Completions result from responders taking one or more Virtual-Instructor-Led Training presentations or one or more self-paced courses in the center’s online training library.
The CDP currently has a catalog of more than 50 Virtual-Instructor-Led Training offerings, which span a variety of topics from community point of distribution operations to target analysis and community planning for hazardous materials.
Brief descriptions about and scheduled dates and times of all CDP VILT presentations can be found at https://cdp.dhs.gov/vilt.
Responders who want to attend a VILT event must register prior to its start date. Once registered, they are provided links and login instructions to the virtual classroom, in addition to other information.
The CDP’s online training library currently consists of 20 courses for responders in a variety of disciplines (i.e. Fire Services, Healthcare, Law Enforcement).
