CDP sets new ‘Indirect’ course standard

The CDP set a new standard last week by graduating more than 500 responders from ‘Indirect’- taught courses in a single week.

Indirect courses are those taught by responders authorized to teach CDP course material but who are not full-time instructors.  However, the responders are graduates of the courses they teach as well as the CDP’s Instructor Training Course.

During the record week, 543 responders attended 34 Indirect courses, including the CDP’s Hospital Emergency Response Training for CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive) Incidents, Standardized Awareness Training, Personal Protective Measures for Biological Events and Bomb Prevention Awareness courses.

The courses were taught at various locations across the continental United States.
