CDP to offer nearly 100 resident training opportunities in March, April
When registration opens for Center for Domestic Preparedness resident courses in March and April 2022, prospective students will be able to choose from a list of nearly 100 different offerings, including several courses which will culminate with the center’s extremely popular Integrated Capstone Event.
Integrated Capstone Events are full-blown exercises at the end of a training week. Students from multiple courses and disciplines work together to respond to one or more simulated incidents patterned after recent real-world events.
In all, the CDP will offer four Integrated Capstone Events during these two months.
Courses on the calendar for March and April include four offerings each of the CDP’s Healthcare Leadership for Mass Casualty Incidents, Emergency Medical Response Awareness for CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives) Incidents, Healthcare Emergency Response Operations for CBRNE Incidents, and Hazardous Materials Technologies: Sampling, Monitoring, and Detection courses.
In addition, there will be two or more offerings each of the following courses: Field Force Operations, Field Force Extraction Tactics, Hazardous Materials Evidence Collection for CBRNE Incidents, Hazardous Materials Technician, Intermediate Hands-on Training for CBRNE Incidents: Law Enforcement, and Law Enforcement Protective Measures for CBRNE Incidents and Law Enforcement Response Actions for CBRNE Incidents.
Registration for these training opportunities is currently expected to open in December.
