CDP to release May resident course calendar soon
When it’s released, prospective students will find a large variety of hazardous materials, healthcare, public order policing and other offerings on the Center for Domestic Preparedness’ May resident training calendar.
The hazardous materials offerings will include the center’s Hazardous Materials Operations, Hazardous Materials Technician and Hazardous Materials Technologies: Sampling, Monitoring, and Detection courses.
Healthcare offerings will include the center’s Disaster-Related Exposure Assessment and Monitoring, Emergency Medical Operations for CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives) Incidents, Environmental Health Training in Emergency Response Operations and Healthcare Leadership for Mass Casualty Incidents courses.
Meanwhile, law enforcement offerings will include the center’s Field Force Extrication Tactics, Field Force Operations, Law Enforcement Protective Measures for CBRNE Incidents, Law Enforcement Response Actions for CBRNE Incidents and Integrating Communications Assessment and Tactics courses.
Registration for the nearly two dozen offerings will be opened once plans are finalized for FEMA’s annual National Preparedness Symposium, which the center is scheduled to host that month.
