CDP to release two new public order policing offerings
The Center for Domestic Preparedness is working to finalize and implement two new web-based public order policing offerings.
Deployment of Mobile Field Force for Mass Demonstrations will span two hours and cover the requirements for deployment, staging, sustainment and redeployment of a mobile field force in response to large demonstrations. The offering includes the levels of response, deployment techniques, essential elements of mutual aid agreements and the well-being of officers.
Planning, Intelligence Collection and Application will also span two hours and teach students the necessary requirements for planning and intelligence collection before and during a civil or other disturbance.
The two offerings are expected to be available within the next few months.
