DREAM course updates finalized
FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) recently updated its Disaster Related Exposure Assessment and Monitoring (DREAM) Course, following a series of pilot offerings.
The CDP’s updates to the course include streamlining some of the instructional material and minor updates to ensure all course information is current.
The four-day DREAM course teaches healthcare specialists how to assess, monitor and track health conditions of emergency responders and others before, during and after incidents, including those involving chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) materials.
The CDP’s first iteration of the updated DREAM course will be conducted this summer.
