Environmental Health responders sought for October offering

FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness has seat openings in its Environmental Health Training in Emergency Response Operations (EHTER Ops) Course October 17-23.

EHTER OPS trains individuals to address environmental health issues during and following a disaster or emergency. Drinking water safety, wastewater containment and disposal, mass feeding facilities, mass shelter operations and re-occupancy of facilities are among the topics addressed in the course, which is open to all responders currently serving in environmental health positions or roles.

CDP training for state, local, tribal and territorial responders is fully funded by the Department of Homeland Security to include transportation, lodging and meals.
