HMO Refresher Course set for release
CDP to release the Hazardous Materials Operations Refresher course, adding to its inventory of online training offerings.
The Center for Domestic Preparedness will release a Hazardous Materials Operations Refresher (HMO-R) course this month, adding to the center’s growing inventory of online training offerings.
HMO-R is aimed at responders who previously completed a full Hazardous Materials Operations training program and require refresher training, particularly those who need it to maintain their qualification or certification.
The comprehensive review is eight hours long and covers all hazardous materials operations competencies, as defined by the National Fire Protection Association.
HMO-R will bring the number of courses in the CDP’s online training library to 22. Brief descriptions of and information on how to register for the offerings can be found at https://cdp.dhs.gov/online_course.
