IACET Renews its Accreditation of CDP Courses

Training at the CDP continues to provide an added bonus to responder-students: Continuing Education Units or CEUs for successful completion of any CDP course.

During a visit here in late April, the IACET (International Association for Continuing Education and Training) renewed its accreditation of all 51 CDP-developed, instructor-led courses.  IACET accreditations are good for 5 years.

Select CDP courses are also accredited by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation organization, the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, the Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education, the American College of Emergency Physicians, and the Emergency Nurses Association.

To view a complete list of CDP courses, their CEUs and accrediting organization or organizations, visit the CDP web site at https://cdp.dhs.gov/ and click on the Continuing Education tab in the upper right hand corner of the page.
