In the Spotlight: Holly Terrell
Holly Terrell has worked at FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness more than 18 years.
She began her career as a chemist and in 2020 became the CDP’s chemical surety officer. In that role, she ensures chemical agents and other toxic materials the CDP uses in training responders to respond to incidents which involve hazardous materials are managed safely and securely.
“I truly believe the CDP serves our country in a very significant way,” she said.
“My greatest joy in this job is that I get to play a small part in equipping our nation’s first responders with skills to help them protect our country,” she added. “Thus, I see my service as more than just a job but a higher calling of service to others.”
