In the Spotlight: Jesse Clausen

IT Senior Systems Administrator Jesse Clausen has been supporting training provided by the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) since 2016.

Clausen initially got into the information technology field in college, working in the phone center at nearby Jacksonville State University while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in technology.

He eventually transitioned from phone networks to computer networks and built a career which has included work in manufacturing plants and as an Army civilian before he accepted a position as an IT support tech at the CDP.

Today, Clausen and his fellow system administrators maintain the servers which keep the center connected and its website running smoothly.

“It’s gratifying to know you work for a place that gives back to society,” he said.
