In the Spotlight: LaQuisha Mayer
LaQuisha Mayer has worked at the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) since March of 2017, serving as a housekeeper/custodian for the first two years before moving to the IT team.
As a support technician, Mayer works to set up new workstations, troubleshoot and correct issues with existing workstations, and supports video broadcasts for the various healthcare courses at the Noble Training Facility.
Having worked with computers for much of her life, Mayer received most of her formal training on the job. She brings a self-professed ‘no fear’ of computers and a focus on customer service to every task.
“My first priority is always taking care of people,” said Mayer. “I like to help people, and I see value in them having the technology needed to get through their day.”
